About us

Kimberly Ann Brown grew up in the small town of Utopia, Texas.  Following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother, she began sewing and designing at a very young age.  Along with her love for wonderful color and design, Kimberly has a passion for health and wellness.  She obtained her first degree from Texas A&M University in College Station in Exercise Science.  She then broadened her medical knowledge by completing a degree as a Physician Assistant in 2001.  After the birth of her two beautiful sons, Kimberly turned her attention to the most wonderful job on earth, being a mother.   

Today Kimberly is proud to be the artist for Heavenly Wear. Each and every design is inspired by God's grace and marked with scripture passages.  Creating this line has allowed her to remain home and yet fill her life with Christ and his followers.   Beginning in 2008, Heavenly Wear can now be found in over 300 stores across 24 states.  The mission of Heavenly Wear is to bring joy to parents as they are continually reminded of the precious gift they have been given – the birth of a child.  

Kimberly and her husband Scott (an Episcopal Priest) live in Harlingen, Texas with their two beautiful sons Parker (9) and Christopher (6).  Whether it’s leading a group of exercising moms, volunteering at their local church & school, or designing her latest piece of Heavenly Wear, Kimberly remains extremely grateful for the gifts she has been given.  

Tanja Anderson Medley grew up in loving home in the small town of Belvidere, IL. She graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, IA earning her BS in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. She moved to Harlingen, TX right after college and taught handicapped children in the public school system for 15 years. Upon leaving the world of education, Tanja opened her first business Initial Request and specialized in custom monogrammed gifts. This allowed her to work out of her home and enjoy the time she spends with her husband, Mike, who is her best hunting and fishing buddy. Today they continue to live in Harlingen with their 3 hunting dogs. They enjoy spending as much time as possible with each other and their pups in the field and on the water being reminded constantly of this beautiful world God blessed us with.  

Recently Tanja and Kimberly joined forces to produce Heavenly Wear right here in Harlingen, TX!  They are very excited about this new endeavor and hope you will follow them on this great journey !
